Gameday Rivals is a new media concept that created a large following because our show was all about passionate sports fans. The show aired on the Fox Sports Network and was shown in 6 states with 8 million subscribers. Our concept was more then just TV because we created a social community that had fans extremely involved. Fans would vote, view and send their clips to all the social sites like YouTube, MySpace and Facebook. This concept is called a viral loop because the message just continues to grow. One former ad exec calls viral loops “the most advanced direct-marketing strategy being developed in the world right now.” The key though is content and Gameday Rivals which is produced by 7-time EMMY award winning Huddle Productions definitely provides that. In 14 weeks Gameday Rivals went from an unknown (100 views) to an impressive (3.5 Million internet requests). Gameday Rivals plans to expand to more markets and sports leagues in 2009. http://www.thegamedayrivals.com
